WOMEN INITIATIVE FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
Michigan State University
Whatever your goal is, I can help you get there. Through years of experience, I’ve learned the importance of investing in Content Marketing, and I try to guide all of my clients through this crucial process. The University Activities Board and the Women's Student Services Office collaborated to bring back the annual WILD Conference on November 2nd, 2019. I had the privilege of taking on this project where I had the role of logistics chair. I was in charge of coordinating booking the rooms, visual and audio equipment, ordering food, decorations, and making sure everything was where it needed to be the day of. The day of the conference could not have gone better. We sold out the conference with a total of 250 attendees who all learned about leadership surrounding our themes Re-imagine, Re-Center, and Resist.

YOU CAN SIT WITH US RECRUITMENT EVENT
UNIVERSITY ACTIVITIES BOARD AT MSU
Everyone who has seen the movie Mean Girls knows the iconic line "You can't sit with us." On October 11th, a date with significance from the movie, I did a recruitment campaign with a Mean Girls twist. I switched up the quote to "You CAN sit with us" to emphasize the inclusive environment that the University Activities Board strives to maintain. We gave out candy bars with information on how to join the organization, made a sign that resembled the iconic "burn book," and did a retweet contest for MSU Chairs to go with the theme.
TREAT YOURSELF TUESDAY
One of the best ways to engage with students is through actual face-to-face interactions. Once a month I would set up a table in the lounge of the MSU Union and give away some sort of treat, our student guides, and our swag items. I used this as an opportunity to highlight our brand of being "where spartans belong" by essentially welcoming students, staff and community members into the building. This was also a great opportunity to talk to people who actually spent time in the MSU Union and hear their experiences and how we can do better or where we are already excelling.
